The Bangkok Community Help Foundation (BCHF) Center of Dreams  stands as a beacon of hope and opportunity within the heart of the Klong Toey Slum. Occupying a four-story building, its purpose transcends mere infrastructure; it serves as a conduit for the exchange and dissemination of knowledge across all echelons of society, particularly benefitting Homeless & those in lower-income communities. The Center of Dreams will serve as the first-ever inner-city Homeless shelter.

About the BCHF Center of Dreams

The Center of Dreams is a social support facility created by the Bangkok Community Help Foundation (BCHF) to assist vulnerable and homeless individuals in Bangkok. The center serves as a safe space where people experiencing homelessness can access shelter, basic necessities, and structured support designed to help them rebuild their lives and reintegrate into society.

Located in the Khlong Toei district, one of Bangkok’s most underserved urban areas, the Center of Dreams operates as a temporary rehabilitation and support center. The facility provides essential services including accommodation, meals, clothing, and access to hygiene facilities. Participants in the program can stay for approximately 90 days while receiving guidance, stability, and practical assistance to help them transition toward independent living.

Beyond meeting immediate needs, the Center of Dreams focuses on long-term empowerment. Residents are offered vocational training, career coaching, and life-skills workshops that help them prepare for employment and rebuild their confidence. The program also includes personal development sessions, job application guidance, and connections to potential employers and social services.

The center was established with financial support from the Citi Foundation and is part of a broader collaboration between nonprofit organizations, private sector partners, and local authorities to address homelessness and social vulnerability in Bangkok. Through this partnership, the center aims to help individuals regain stability, secure employment, and reconnect with their communities.

What is Bangkok Community Help Foundation?

Bangkok Community Help Foundation is a nonprofit organization focused on supporting vulnerable communities in Bangkok through humanitarian aid, outreach programs, and community-based support. In the past 5 years we've been proud to help over 5.000.000 people in Thailand.

Who does the foundation help?

We assist individuals and families facing hardship, including low-income communities, people experiencing homelessness, children, and others in need of support within Bangkok. We also help during natural disasters like floods, earthquakes and fires. Our work is primarly based in Bangkok, but branches out to wherever help is needed.

What types of support do you provide?

Our support includes food assistance, essential supplies, emergency aid, and community outreach initiatives. Our programs adapt based on community needs and available resources. We also operate the first NGO-run Homeless Shelter housing and preparing former Homeless to enter back into society.
