Hat Yai Flood Relief
In collaboration with the Royal Thai Army, we’re making progress in helping people return to their homes in the heavily affected Mae Sai district along the Thai-Myanmar border. With mud levels reaching up to a meter and hundreds of homes filled with thick mud and water, the work is both challenging and intense. But by coming together during this critical time, we can help these communities rebuild and get back on their feet.
The Bangkok Community Help Foundation’s Hat Yai HQ was established in less than 24 hours — and has already distributed more than 15.000 KG of aid.
Our mobile kitchen is now fully operational, thanks to the incredible support of ZAAP and Smile Hotel, preparing 10,000 fresh meals every single day for the people of Hat Yai. With 30 local volunteers from Had Yai and our volunteers from Bangkok.
Food is distributed to communities, hospitals, refugee centers and is also available for pick up.
