Bangkok Community Help Foundation – Flood Relief Efforts

The Bangkok Community Help Foundation (BCHF) plays an active role in responding to flood emergencies across Thailand by delivering rapid, community-based assistance to communities affected by severe flooding. Through its network of volunteers, partners, and donors, the foundation mobilizes resources to support families facing displacement, damaged homes, and shortages of essential supplies.

Over the years, BCHF has been actively involved in several major flood response operations across the country, including the Ayutthaya floods, the Northern Thailand floods of 2024, and the Southern Thailand floods of 2025. In each of these crises, the foundation deployed volunteers and relief teams to provide immediate humanitarian assistance and sustained support to affected communities.

Across these operations, BCHF has distributed over 100,000 kilograms of flood relief supplies, including food, drinking water, hygiene kits, clothing, and emergency essentials. Volunteers worked directly on the ground in flood-affected areas to ensure that critical aid reached families and vulnerable individuals as quickly as possible.

Beyond emergency distribution, the foundation focuses on long-term flood relief operations. In many affected areas, BCHF teams helped provide temporary housing and daily meals for displaced residents while communities recovered. Volunteers also carried out extensive clean-up operations—removing debris, clearing mud from homes, and restoring damaged community spaces. These recovery efforts often lasted weeks or even months, reflecting the organization’s commitment to helping communities rebuild after the immediate crisis had passed.
